New tastes in Galata district
We have discovered a new place, namely “Hoppala” , a small, cosy and sincere place where you can enjoy a good breakfast or lunch during your stay in Istanbul. Only thing you have to do is to take a walk to Galata Tower and head into Küçük Hendek street, number 16 C…
This little shop is run by a local lady who cooks everything herself. No need to mention how clean and simple this restaurant is besides the most delicious dishes. You may also meet her son who is helping with the service. You’ll definitely have a chance to taste the traditional Turkish breakfast or lunch.
We have tried the “Mantı” and “Çiğ börek” so far which tasted far above average. There are more choices available in the menu but we’d recommend you to ask the owner if there are any specialties for the day.
